Ages 6-8
Description: This is the perfect class for those who are maybe curious about the stage or would like to further explore acting! Over the eight-week session, students will participate in fun activities, exercises and games that focus on basic acting, movement and voice. A share performance will conclude the session on November 18th!

Description: This class introduces new students to the exciting world of theatre and performance! Over the eight-week session, students will learn the key elements of an Actor’s Toolbox: Voice, Body, Imagination, Concentration and Cooperation through fun and creative games and exercises! A share performance will conclude the session on November 14th!

Description: This class introduces students to the world of A cappella, just like in the Pitch Perfect movies! Students will learn simple and fun A cappella arrangements and choreography to go along with them to form a Pitch Perfect competition set! This class is perfect for those who love to sing, dance and perform! A share performance of the set will conclude the session on November 14th!

Description: In this class students create their own twisted version of Charles Dickens’ classic, A Christmas Carol through improvised play and character creation. A share performance for families and friends will conclude the session on November 18th!

Description: In this class students will re-imagine familiar stories like Snow White and Peter Pan with surprising new characters, settings, and problems! Over the eight-week session students will learn acting skills such as creating characters, how to express emotions on stage and how to work as a team through fun games and exercises! A share performance for families and friends will conclude the session on March 23rd!

Description: In this class students will continue to learn and develop personal understanding of playing an action, being in the moment, listening and responding to stage partners, and other advanced fundamentals of acting through a variety of fun exercises, improvisations and scene work. Description: In this class, students will learn to sing and dance selected Broadway showstoppers! They will also explore character choices, vocal techniques and how to work together as an ensemble! Over the eight-week session, students will rehearse and stage their numbers, and then perform them for families in a showcase during the final class on November 18th!

Ages 13-17
Description: This class is for anyone interested in learning valuable tips and techniques to ace your next audition be it the Spring Production at your high school or a college audition! Students will go through a “mock” audition from start to finish all while learning how to impress directors sitting behind the audition table. Bringing your own musical theater song or short monologue is recommended but not necessary! The eight-week session will conclude with a mock auditioning showcase on March 23rd, for families, friends and maybe a special guest or two!

Ages 6-8
Description: With both the book and adapted musical, students will create their own take on the bright, fun characters through creative play and storytelling. This class is in participation with the Playhouse on Park’s Theatre for Youth Spring production of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, so students and families will be able to not only explore the story in class but get a chance to see it performed on stage at Playhouse on Park! A wonderful opportunity for first time actors and actresses!

Description: In this eight-week session, students will put together a showcase of Shel Silverstein poetry. Each actor will play an equal and meaningful part while learning how to collaborate and perform as an ensemble.

Description: This lively class will use improvisational exercises to teach students the importance of listening, saying YES, being present and using those skills to create characters and build worlds. Improvisational acting is based in comedy and we encourage silliness and fun! Improv has many benefits including bringing a sense of calm in dealing with the unknown, feelings of confidence and decreased sense of anxiety! This class is open to new students, but returning students are welcomed too!

Description: Create absurdly comical sketches inspired by student-friendly performances from SNL, TikTok, and YouTube legends. Learn the craft of sketch comedy through character development, improv, delivery, and timing. A showcase set in the style of SNL will be the conclusion of the program.

Description: In this 10 week session, students will audition, rehearse and explore the stage adaptation of the classic novel and film! Each student will receive a part and have the fantastic opportunity to dive deep into character development, stagecraft and scene analysis.

Additional info: On June 22nd, students are required for a dress rehearsal starting at 11:30am. Lunch will be provided. Performance starts at 3:30pm.
