Teaching Artists

TORI MOONEY

“Miss T$” is excited to be back teaching for Playhouse Theatre Academy (2016-2019). She has also been joyfully teaching with Hartford Stage since 2013. And Hartford Children’s Theater prior to that! Her teaching heart belongs to the 5-9 year olds, which is perfect because the students usually won’t be taller than her! Miss T$ also works as the Front of House Manager at Playhouse on Park and has been performing on the Essex Steam Train’s “North Pole Express” as Pixie Poinsettia since 2014. She lives in Vernon with her boyfriend of almost 9 years, Nik, and their 2 dogs, Blue + Birdie. Miss T$ can never have too much sunshine or red velvet cupcakes!
